All About Jade

Jade is definitely not a baby any more.  Though she is still a few weeks away from hitting her 18 month mark, Jade got to go to nursery at church.  I wasn't planning on taking her to nursery until she officially reached 18 month mark.  Jade heard all the noise and wanted to be apart of it.  There were already 19 toddlers in the room.  They were happy to make it an even number.  Jade had a great time and didn't think twice about missing me when I dropped her off.

Jade can run, climb, and get into just about anything.  We have to watch her like a hawk.  Her favorite things to play with are mommy's and daddy's laptops and cell phones.  She is always finds a way to get to them when we're not looking.  Jade has also developed her stacking skills, but loves to knock things over.  She likes to count from 1-8.  She can read (yes I said read) over 32 words.  She loves books.  She is signing 2 or 3 words together.  She almost has the words to "Twinkle Little Star."  She loves the song "Row, Row, Row Your Boat" with her lips puckered out.  We really haven't been taking many pictures.  Most of the time we are just trying to film the funny things Jade does.  Here are but a few of our favorites.

Jade eating with a fork for the first time.

Jade likes getting wet for the first time!
Up until this shot she hated being sprayed by water.
It's kinda long so don't feel like you have to watch the whole thing.

We were not planning on dressing Jade up for Halloween,
but Nickell (Gary's sister) came to the rescue for Jade.
She provided us with a costume she had used a previous year.
Cutest little bee I ever saw!  She did do some "trick or treating" on our street.
She was so excited going from house to house.

Jade got really courageous and wanted to try out going down the side.
This is our second shot of her going down.
She got a little too ambitious.  Hence the reason for the head first.

Yes, Jade can read.  We can prove it :)
